Professional:

David joined Portfolio Advisors, Inc. in 2026 as a summer intern and moved into a full-time role when his internship ended. He was drawn to financial planning by a belief in access: too many people face major financial decisions without anyone knowledgeable and objective to talk them through, and David wants to be that person for the families he works with. To him, the numbers are only half of good planning, the other half is understanding the people behind them.

As a 2026 Finance graduate of Fresno State, David was a member of the university’s Student-Managed Investment Fund and served as the Vice President for the Association of Finance Scholars. During his time as a student, he competed within the CFA research challenge across universities in northern California in which he placed 3rd place for their report; marking the first time Fresno State placed within a finance competition. He also volunteered with CovEducation, a nonprofit that gives K–12 students from low-income and underrepresented communities free access to tutoring and mentorship.

Personal:

In his free time, David plays piano and creates his own music, focuses on his fitness, and digs into the latest market news.
