On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, Portfolio Advisors Inc. had the honor of once again attending the Central California Women’s Conference (CCWC) in Fresno. This was our second year participating, and the day was nothing short of inspiring.
A Day of Connection and Inspiration
The conference began with a lively breakfast that set the stage for a full day of learning and connection. Attendees had the chance to explore breakout sessions covering a wide range of topics — from leadership and confidence to health, wellness, and professional growth. Each session reflected the heart of CCWC: creating space for women to learn, connect, and thrive.
Keynote Highlight: Sarah Rafferty
The keynote luncheon featured Sarah Rafferty, actress from the hit show Suits. Sarah spoke candidly about her professional journey in the acting industry, sharing both the challenges and triumphs of building a career as a woman in entertainment. Her message of resilience and authenticity resonated with the audience and set a powerful tone for the rest of the day.
Portfolio Advisors on Stage
In addition to connecting with attendees at our booth, Portfolio Advisors had the privilege of leading a breakout session of our own. Tina Mistry, CFP®, and AJ Flores, CFP®, walked participants through the often-complex topic of Social Security. Many left with a new level of clarity and confidence, and it was rewarding to see how empowering financial education can be when delivered in a clear and approachable way.
Living the Theme: Suited for Your Journey
This year’s theme, “Suited for Your Journey,” captured the spirit of the day perfectly. From keynote insights to breakout sessions and meaningful conversations at our booth, the conference reminded us that every woman’s path is unique — and that the right resources and support can make all the difference.
Looking Ahead
As we reflect on our second year at CCWC, we are grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many inspiring women, leaders, and organizations across the Central Valley. We look forward to continuing our involvement and to serving our community with the same dedication and care that has guided our work for decades.
Here’s to another year of empowerment, education, and community.
