At Portfolio Advisors Inc., we believe that education can change the trajectory of a child’s life and create stronger communities for generations to come. We were honored to attend the 2026 gala benefiting Reading and Beyond and to support an organization that is making a meaningful difference for children and families throughout the Central Valley.
Held at Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater, the evening featured a special performance of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story and brought together community leaders, supporters, and advocates who share a commitment to expanding access to education and opportunity.
Empowering Children and Families
Reading and Beyond has long been a driving force in helping children and families build brighter futures.
Through literacy programs, early learning initiatives, workforce development, and family support services, the organization equips individuals with the tools they need to grow, succeed, and reach their full potential.
Their work touches thousands of families each year and continues to strengthen communities across the Central Valley.
An Evening with Purpose
The gala was both uplifting and inspiring.
It was wonderful to see so many individuals and organizations come together to support a mission that is creating real and lasting change. The evening offered a meaningful opportunity to celebrate the impact of Reading and Beyond while raising critical funds to help expand its programs.
The performance, the stories shared, and the generosity in the room all reflected the powerful difference that education and community support can make.
A Meaningful Connection to the Mission
This partnership is especially meaningful to our team because our CEO and Senior Financial Advisor, Tina Mistry, serves on Reading and Beyond’s Finance Committee.
Her involvement has provided our team with an even deeper appreciation for the organization’s thoughtful leadership and the life-changing work taking place every day.
